Since 1993 we work at the continuos improvement of the concept of Lean Manufacturing, TPS and the process oriented manufacturing organization: The methodology "Flexible Factory" is the result of this development.

[ Werner E. Jung ]

The founder, Werner E. Jung has a Masters in Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and a MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He started his career at Mercedes Benz and was active in international management for Sony, Eli Lilly, Vishay Intertechnology, Corning, Intersoft, AKR technologies, JCIT in Europe and USA in the areas of project management, production, controlling and system development. He is the co-founder of AKR, a leading company for production control systems for the processing industry.

He originally founded the Leonardo Group in Switzerland and in cooperation with Siemens Building Technology and Nelm SA, he and Eduard Ryser developed the concept of the Flexible Factory. This methodology is a logical continuation of well known concepts such as Toyota Production System, Lean Manufacturing, Kanban etc.. The emphasis was on effectiveness and efficiency in the implementation. This enables the methodology of the Flexible Factory to be applied also in small and medium sized organizations in a very cost efficient way. Werner Jung is the author of numerous publications and working papers on the subject of Flexible Factory, Lean Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management.

[ Brigitte Aust ]

Brigitte Aust studies Architecture and Urban Development at the University of Dortmund. She has many years' experience in real estate development and real estate administration. She brings her experience in administration and project management into the team.
